I Can't Think - 5/8/1996; 6th Grade
My friend and I were paired up to write a couplets poem in sixth grade. It had been a long day, and the classroom was niosy. After staring at a blank sheet of paper for a good five minutes, I finally asked my friend, "Okay, we need to write something, so let's just get started. What do you want to name the poem?" He responded, "I don't know... I CAN'T THINK!" We went from there.
